Dividend payout ratio

Hi,

Can anybody comment regarding the calculation of Dividend Pay-out Ratio(DPR) for companies in India.

To be precise, whether for calculating DPR should include the Dividend Distribution Tax which the company pays to the Indian Government or it should just be derived by dividing the DPS divided by EPS, or Dividend declared by earnings?
