it is exempt as dividend distribution tax is already paid by the company declaring it

The Dividend earned shall be exempt. As the Company distributing the Dividend to its shareholders has already paid the Dividend Distribution Tax (refer section 115-O, IT Act 1961) on the same. Regards, Devendra |
