Dividend balancing is connected to the repatriation of profit earned by foreign investments to the home country. In some countries, there are restrictions on repatriation of dividend outside the country.
These restrictions require that the outflow of foreign exchange on payment of dividend shall not exceed the amount of export earning of the company.
