Nothing has been mentioned for STT/S. Tax either exemption or reducing on this budget, which is the need of hour For bank sectors also complete revamping, modernization and amalgamation of big size bank with so called small banks has been mentioned I don't know On what way this budget will bring achhe din ayega into ground materiality

Tax exemption limit increased by Rs. 50000 from Rs. 200000 to Rs.250000 and Deduction under section 80C increased by Rs.50000 from Rs.100000 to Rs.150000. Also interest on housing loan exemption limit increased from 150000 to 200000
