Disbursement amount is the actual amount paid to the borrower/or on his behalf to some other person towards loan.
Say you want to purchase a house. Total cost of purchase is say 60,000/- This is cost of project.
Now if 10% of the same is to be conributed by the borrower then 10% of the cost of project i.e.6000/- is the margin amount. Balance amount may be applied as a loan. Now if the Bank may disburse the full amount of Rs 54,000/- in one shot or this may be disbursed in instalments. So whatever amount is actually given to the borrower this is called disbursed amount.
