12 July 2011We have disallowed so items like professional fees, EPF dues etc for non deduction of TDS in the previous FS now we have paid relevant TDS now pls suggest us how should we deal those items in the currest FS (pls suggest the accounting treatment under accounting and Income tax computations)

EPF dues of previous year if not cleared upto the date of return is disallowed, and it can not be claimed in coming years.
professional fees and others where TDS was not deducted, same criteria applies if the tds is not deposited upto return filings it can not be claimed next.
get in touch with your CA who filled 3CD he will be in better position to reply about admissibility.

employees contribution if disallowed under 36(1)(va) for non payment in time can never be allowed even in the year of payment
