Salary or Remuneration to a director in a Pvt ltd co will be treated as Salary & TDS will be deducted u/s 192B.

If he is a non-executive director, then tax deduction shall be as per S.194J.
Whereas if he is an executive director such as - MD/WTD/ Manager, then deduction of tax shall be as per S.192.
To ascertain as to whether he is an executive or a non-executive director, you may read the terms of appointment and the resolution and the minutes of meeting in this regards.
