Always start with the topics which u feel ur comforatble.... it makes u interest in the subject and plan accordingly... 
U just purchased the Books OF T>N>Manoharan Or Taxman publication for self study
for dt v.k.singhania is good book. I referred it from pcc and i got gold madel with 87marks in dt. V.k.singhaniia is better for understanding.
