I AM FOLLOWING VG FOR DT ...HAVNT STUDIED THE 6th MODULE SO FAR ( CHAPTERS LIKE PENALTIES,APPEALS,& SETTLEMENT COMMISSION) I STILL HAVNT STUDIED...
ONLY PRACTICE MANUAL,SUPPLEMENTARY,NEW CASE LAWS FOR THESE CHAPTERS WILL THESE BE SUFFICIENT ??

Tanisha ji, you should carry on with the preparation of V G Sir's modules, if you are falling short of time on some topics, at least cover such topics from his summary module. Pracice Manual, supplementary books on amendments and case laws are complementary material, apart from what you have been studying.
The paper on Direct Tax law is a core subject in Chartered Accountancy course and going for any selective studies, may leave you in despair in the examination hall, so make a concerted effort in covering entire syllabus. Wish you good luck.
