Respected Sir / ma'am, I didn't get 55% in aggregate in B.com(Hons.). In aggregate i get 54.2% but if i select three subject (Costing, Law &FM) my % comes to 65%. so is i am qualified for direct entry? . how to calculate the % qualification for direct entry ? please REPLY

For ‘Direct Entry Scheme’, aggregate of total marks is taken into consideration. There is no option for best of subject’s scheme. Minimum aggregate has be to 54.5% for commerce graduates, which will be rounded off to 55%.

Via direct entry scheme, students can directly register themselves for CA Intermediate course without appearing for CA Foundation exams.

Eligibility for CA Direct Entry Scheme 

  • Commerce stream student who have passed graduation/ post graduation with a minimum of 55 % Marks
  • Other streams student who have passed graduation/ post graduation with a minimum of 60 % Marks
  • The student who has cleared the intermediate level of ICSI, ICWAI.
  • the student who is appearing for graduation final year can register for CA intermediate through provisional registration.

Direct Entry Registration

CA Intermediate registration procedure will be the same as Foundation route students.

Fees for Direct Entry Scheme

Registration Fees - Rs 15000 (for both groups)

Registration Form Fees - Rs 200

Total Registration Fees - Rs 15200

Registration Fees for a Graduation Final Year Student  - Rs 22200 (for both groups).

Step Under Direct Entry Route

For Graduates -

  • Register for CA Intermediate
  • before the commencement of the Practical Training, Complete 4 weeks of ICITSS.

For Intermediate Passed -

  • Register for CA Intermediate
  • Complete 8 months of the study period
  • Clear single or both groups of CA Intermediate
  • Successfully complete 4 weeks of ICITSS
  • Register for 3 years of practical training. Register for CA Final course (after clearing both groups of Intermediate)
  • Successfully complete 4 weeks of AICITSS during in last two years of practical training.
  • In the last six months of practical training, you can appear for CA final examination
  • Complete practical training and clear both groups of CA Final
  • Become a member of ICAI.
