According to the above link, even C.A students are eligible to appear for the examination.

But according to other sources, ONLY qualified C.A's are eligible to appear for the same.

Can anybody clarify the above??

hi! i got a call from the Piron Institute India regarding the same, they wanted to convince me to join since IFRS is very imp. for our professional expertise and shortly going to be implemented in India.....so I wanted to investigate further. They told me that students can join for undergoing the online coaching but only after we become CA... we shall be eligible to appear in the exams. Our institute also runs IFRS Course, students can also join and do IFRS from our Institute but only qualified CA's are eligible to appear for exams.  I hope this helps you...are u planning to do IFRS?

Yeah I'm planning to do IFRS.. 

I did some research for the same today.. Called PIRON CORP...

I found out that even C.A students with article completion certificate are qualified to appear for IFRS - ACCA examination. In other words, article completion certificate qualifies as relevant work experience required for eligibility to appear in the IFRS examination.

But is the above information really correct??

Coz as it stands on the ACCA website.. Either you need to be a qualified C.A or a B.Com with 2 years of work experience or an M.Com student...

It nowhere specifies on the ACCA website whether the articleship under C.A course qualifies as relevant work experience as above.. 

If anyone has the exact details.. please provide the same..
