Digital signature for e-tds return

hi,

can anybody tell me, as a Pvt. Ltd. compnay , digital signature of director is required for filling e-tds return.

Hi Sunil !

E-TDS return is to be submitted in a CD in fvu format at the TIN facilitation centres of NSDL. The data will be uploaded from CD by NSDL and they will keep the CD. Form No. 27A is generated in case of E-filing of TDS returns. This form has to be signed by authorised person (here director) and submitted along with the CD. Therefore there is no need for Digital Signature.

Digital Signature is required in case of E filing of Income Tax Return of the company. BUT that too can be filed without DS - in which case ITR - V is required to be submitted to the concerned Assessing Officer withing 15 days of E filing the return.
