Policy - Lost/Error in Certificates
Important Information : Digital Signature Certificates with PAN
ICAI issuing Digital Signature Certificates as per Interoperability guidelines from 4th of April 2011.

Dear Members/ Students, 
 
As a part of the continuous enhancement to online services, ICAI will be issuing you legally valid Digital Certificates. This will enable you to carry your transactions (e-mail and web based services) under the jurisdiction of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, electronically and hence increase the efficiency and speed of processing. The Digital Certificates are issued under the licensed TCS-Certifying Authority Trust Network that ensures legal sanctity as per the Indian IT Act, 2000.
Certificate Request Forms
 
As per the CCA notification on Interoperability guidelines  "https://cca.gov.in/rw/resource/Interoparability-Notification2011.pdf?download=true" Only 1 year validity certificates  will be issued from 4th of April 2011. Members are requested to apply for one year only.
 
 
Please download and fill the Certificate Request Form (as defined in Schedule IV of Information Technology Act, 2000 ) from the following link: 
 
 
Members and Students are requested to mention their Membership Numbers and Registration Numbers respectively on the top of the form.
 
Updated Offline form is also available to the subscriber under the link "Step 2" in the Subscriber Dashboard.

This form contains the Checklist of supporting documents required for validation. You need to send physical copy of the filled Certificate Request Form and the supporting validation documents at the earliest to the address mentioned in the form. This is mandatory to process and legalize your certificate request.
 
 
The fees for Digital Certificates are as under: 


For Members 

FOR FIRST TIME ISSUE OF DSC 

Rs. 1500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) per certificate for one year validity 
(The price includes Digital Signatures Certificate Enrollment Kit containing USB Token, Enrolment Guide and driver/ tools CD) 

FOR RENEWAL (2nd Year Onwards) - (USB Token  not included) 
Rs. 750/- (Rupees seven hundred and fifty only) per certificate for one year validity 

For Students 

FOR FIRST TIME ISSUE OF DSC 

Rs. 1450/- (One thousand Four hundred fifty only) per certificate for one year validity (The  price includes Digital Signatures Certificate Enrollment Kit containing USB Token, Enrolment Guide and driver/ tools CD) 


FOR RENEWAL (2nd Year Onwards) - (USB Token  not included) 
Rs. 700/- (Seven hundred only) per certificate for one year validity 

 
For Members and Students Holding DSC 
Cost of Enrollment kit Containing USB token - Rs. 800/- 
 
Note: - The prices are inclusive of 4% Sales Tax on USB Token. 

The fee has to be sent in the form of a crossed Cheque/ Demand Draft drawn in favour of "The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India" payable at "New Delhi" along with the supporting documents mentioned as a part of checklist required to be sent with filled-in Certificate Request Form at the following address :
