difficulty in redemption of debenture

could anyone please tell me that is their any difference between sinking fund and debenture redemption fund?
if yes, please reply how and why?

hi pal there is no diff bcoz they serve same purpose but DDR is created by implication of laws as stated.It is like statutory reserve created by co. who is funding its project by issuing debenture.but law exempt the if Co. is running in loss

There is one difference is that Sinking fund is a fund into which a company sets aside money in order to retire its preferencial stock, bonds or debentures but Debenture redumption fund is specially to retire debetures.
