plsssss clarify the differences b/w revenue and receipts.
In my ICWA book the difference is like this................
Receipts .......... are the inflow of money into the business
Revenue...............is the aggregate exchange value received for goods and services provided to the customers.
my doubt is............ aggregate exchange itself is the inflow of money into the business na. plssssssss clarify
In revenue and receipt cash flows into the business but cash inflow from revenue is cash inflow from from operating activities and cash inflow from receipts is other than operating activities i.e. from investing activities or financing activities.
RECIEPT ARE INCLUDE IN REVENUE ITSELF.
