As per the TAX law;

"The amount of total income computed in accordance with the foregoing provisions of this Act shall be rounded off to the nearest multiple of ten rupees and for this purpose any part of a rupee consisting of paise shall be ignored and thereafter if such amount is not a multiple of ten, then, if the last figure in that amount is five or more, the amount shall be increased to the next higher amount which is a multiple of ten and if the last figure is less than five, the amount shall be reduced to the next lower amount which is a multiple of ten; and the amount so rounded off shall be deemed to be the total income of the assessee for the purposes of this Act."

So in your case after deducting TDS as the balance tax liability payable is Re.1, it should be rounded off to nearest multiple of Rs. 10, i.e., 0. So, there is no liability on your part & you can file NIL return.

no it will not be problem. the tax liability can be rounded off to nearest rupees 10
Same is the case with me...My tax payable on total income is coming as 70736 in Form 16 where as per the e-filing calculator the tax is 70737. So do I've to pay this Rupee 1 as tax? If yes where I can pay this tax - at a bank or it is possible to pay it online as well. Also can I e-file without paying this Rupee 1 as tax. Thanks in advance.

E filing portal shows my  balance tax or tax to be e payed is Rs.10. Does it need to be paid?

@ Masrewoo., in my view.....
You ll be paid after calculate and before filing Rs. 1.
But, After filing the demand raise Rs. 5....or 4.....
@ Anupam Sagar.,
You pay the tax amount earlier. If not ITD raise demand notice.....
@ Raja P M Will i have to fill up revised i.t. e filling after paying Rs.10
