Conveyance expenses are those expesnes which are incurred by travelling in your city and the travelling expenses are those expenses which are incurred by you outside your city .

Dear all,
Please  let me know the exact difference between conveyance and travelling expenses

conveyence is component of salary and payable monthly, for movement of employee from home to the place where from he start the empoyment duty.

travelling is the charges the employer pays for travelling from his workplace to the additional places for performing the work.

example

an advocate has his office in main city and its have motorable distance from civil court/ high court/ registrar

advocate employee few clerks / juniors to help him in working. ( now advocate is to be termed as employer and clerks/ juniors are employees)

employer pays Rs. 600/- per month to each employee as convence.

employer pays Rs 50/- per visit to high court, rs 40 per visit to civil court, 30/- per visit to registrar as travelling

600 is fixed component where the employee uses the sum to reach the office,

afterwards he visit to additional places of work apart from office, which is incidental and he gets travelling expenses on incidental basis.
