If return was not filed on time then penalty will be imposed for 200 rupees per day

As of now there is no late fees on GSTR 1.

As of now no Late Fees U/s 47 of the CGST Act 2017 is being charged by the GST portal ( GSTN ) for late filing of FORM GSTR-1.

No late fees is charged by the department for late filing of GSTR 1 currently.
