ICAI has discontinued offline forms from 6th May 2019 and the new Self Service Portal doesnt have the forms available. I am trying since last 2 months to apply . How Can one apply for membership.?
Demand Draft should be taken in favour of The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, payable at New delhi / Kanpur / Mumbai / Chennai / Kolkata for the requisite fee. For details of fees: https://resource.cdn.icai.org/23933announ270811.pdf
Form 2 filled in duly including the signature and photo and the name as in degree certificate. If change in signature, submit the attested new signature by a C.A or Gazetted officer.
Demand Draft for the requisite fees.
Certified true copy of the following documents: (Duly attested by any Chartered Accountant / Gazetted Officer)
Mark statements of CA final examination
Completion certificate of GMCS.
Article training completion certificate.
Proof of Date of Birth
Copy of Degree Certificate
Copy of permission letter issued by the institute for pursuing other courses, if done any. If prior permission has not been obtained from the institute Form 112 has to be submitted along with the condonation fee of Rs. 1000/-, a letter from the Employer stating that the study of other course has not affected the article assistant's practical training and request from the student seeking condonation on his / her lapse in not intimating the study of other course in time.
Copy of permission letter issued by the institute for getting engaged in othe business /occupation, if any.
Copy of permission letter issued by the institute for getting engaged as a director in family business, if any.
Note: If prior permission from the Institute has not been obtained for the above then the following process has to be followed.
If engaged in other business/occupation Form 112 has to be submitted along with the following documents:
certified copy of partnership deed indicating the member has not taken active part.
Self affidavit from the member.
Affidavit from all the other partners.
No objection letter from the employer that the training of the member during his articleship was not interfered due to the above engagement.
If engaged as a Director in family business during articleship Form 112 has to be submitted along with the following documents:
A copy of the Memorandum/ Articles of Association of the company.
No objection letter of the employer that the training of the applicant during his articleship was not interfered due to the above engagement.
Self affidavit from the applicant undertaken before the notary/first class magistrate that he has not taken active part in the management of business.
