how to show FD interest income
sir saving account interest income is shown in section 80TTA likewise FD interest income can be shown in any section or not

Interest earned on FD are taxable under head other source and you cannot claim the said amount as deduction in whole of the Income Tax Acr
As per New Section 80TTB applicable from F.Y.2018-19, you can make deduction on FD Interest upto ₹50,000. But this is applicable to senior citizens only.
