Surcharge: 10% of tax where total income exceeds Rs. 50 lakh
15% of tax where total income exceeds Rs. 1 crore

If total income less than equal to 1 crore - NIL
If total income more than 1 crore but less than equal to 10 crore - 2%
If total income exceed 10 crore - 5%
If total income more than 1 crore but less than equal to 10 crore - 2%
