Gst on transportservices

I talked to GST helpline, they are saying that transport service provider are exempt in GST.

is it right?

it is under secion 9(3) and is not exempt, RCM is continued

Yes....

It's EXEMPTED in "PROVIDERS HAND"

They are quite right. Transportaion service is exempted under GST Regim. It is taxable under RCM for recepient.
