Tax payment for outstanding demand

Hi,

I had an outsatnding tax demand for AY 2010-11 for which I clicked on "Demand is correct" and paid the taxes by clicking the link given in the incometax india website. I was taken to my bank's website where I had filled Challan 400 and paid the taxes and got the acknowledgement for the full amount for which the demand was raised. I had got the demand intimation on 8th Aug 2017 and confirmed my response and paid tax on 9th Aug 2017. But even today i.e. 24 Aug 2017, I do not see the taxes reflected in the demand and it is showing "Pay Taxes" link as active. The income tax india website shows last refreshed on 16th August 2017.

Is there any place where I need to upload this challan or file another return? Is there a further process involved after tax payment? Please guide me.

Not required to do any thing. if possible then contact ur assessing officer and produce challan copy to him. Ask him to post challan in oltas menu and nullify the demand in their CPC AO portal.

Thank you

I do not have the details on how to contact my assessing officer. Is there a way to get these details? Also, any average time period post which this demand will be nullified in the portal? Or is a follow-up mandatory to do this?

Now select disagree with he demand and provide the challan details which you have just paid
