whether gst will be applicable if bunglow or farmhouse is given on rent to any tourist for a week and the same activity is carried for to earn income i. e for commercial purposes

28% I believe... as it'll be considered as luxury
it means it is taxable whatever may be the rate
remember if you convert the property as commercial then minimum of 20lac commercial property rental income doesn't come under GST and residential property rental income doesn't come under GST.
I strongly believe that an approval from tourism department for your homestay will keep your premises out of the GST ambit as it is a residential activity
