I know we can file ITR of only 2 previous years...
But is there any way to claim TDS refund for the AY 14-15 (FY 13-14)???

I differ the previous answers ..AO cannt at his own can issue BoJ notice u/s 144. JC must be approved and hence negotiation with AO does not serve purpose.. Also even if RoI is filed in responce to notice u/s 144, 143[2] scrutiny proceedings can be invoked. Hence better forgo the Refund if the intention is to claim refund..

Hi,
Best way is to approach the AO to call for notice U/s 142(1). File the return in response to the notice claiming refund.
But this will be an initiation for scrutiny assessment u/s 143(3). If the records are clean and the amount is huge, can go for it.

Sorry ..No assessee / Representative can ask any AO , to send notices sec: 142[1] , sec 144, 148 etc.. It is based on machanism adoped by the dept.
CBDT can condone the delay and hence it is answered accordinly,, [apprach Board throu your PCIT's office narating the reason for delay] and you may win over.
