Business promotion expense

I am working in a manufacturing company. The products we manufacture are required to be inspected by an Inspection Officer whose Lodging Expenses are treated as Business Promotion Expense. Whether such treatment is correct or not. If not,then please suggest me under which head it should be recorded.
