No there is no such possibility. You will never have to attempt that group again which you have already passed.

Bro u have the passing marksheet of group 1 with you .. I think that is the biggest written proof directly from ICAI.. Even if the CA final syllabus changes in future, u would only have to attempt the papers in second group.Just re-register for CA final course as the validity period of 5 years has expired in your case.
The fact that u have passed Group 1 is valid for the rest of your lifetime now ..

There are things that imply this and I have seen a similar query some where but I do not remember exactly where.Check FAQs in ICAI website or do one thing, ask the question on e-sahayta forum but you must be specific that you want to attempt exam in May 2017 and explain your situation. You will get a more assuring answer. Frame the question properly and you will get desired answer.
