CBDT announced that we can file for 6 years in case of refund arises.

No, u can not file online belated return as per sec 139(4)  for FY 13-14.

But u can file offline also, and ur return will remain valid.

In case u file ur belated return 1 yr from the relavent assement yr, then u can claim refund.

In ur case i am not sure whether u will be able to get ur refund back.

U can not do in case of belated return are

  •
  • 1 YOU CAN'T REVISE RETURN
  • 2. YOU CAN'T C/F LOSSES
  • 3. YOU CAN'T CLAIM LOSS OF HOUSEPROPERTY WHICH IS ARISE CLAIMING OF INTEREST ON HOUSE LOAN.
make an application for condonation of delay
yes mr dangeti is correct.
you can file return online
tell me the options for filling offline

I think you can give the option 'return filed in response to notice u/s 142(1)' and give the notice date and file the return

write an application to CIT u/s 119(2) for condonation of delay.
Mention therein, valid reasons for non filing of IT retur.

You can file only if condone to late file by appropriate authority. A notification has been issued by CBDT for condone of filing ITR of last 6 years.

Yes you can file manually. Enclose copy of tax letter received from tax authorities. Once you have filed tax authorities will evaluate your return and decide about refund.

Practically it can't be possible..

YOU CAN FILE U/S 142(1) AND GIVE THE NOTICE REFERENCE NUMBER AND DATE ON THE APPROPRIATE COLUMN

take  help of a  nearby CA  to file the return, as notice is already issued,  any wrong entry may cause  trouble to the assesee,

Sir,

Based on the Notice , our local ASK (Aayakar Seva Kendra )  has been receiving such returns , if the income is less than Rs 5,00,000 for an Individual, etc.

No Refund will be granted.
