Best books for dt and idt

For DT, as suggested by krishna agrawal, T.N Manorahan.(Go for summary book, introduced newly. 2016-17 is the 2nd Edition)

For IDT I would suggest V.S.Datey book.

My friend suggest me vinod gupta for dt.. 

I m confused between vinod gupta and tn manoharan

Go for Vinod Gupta for DT. It looks vast due to multiple modules, but its simple language and conceptual clarity is unbeatable.

If have sufficient time, Go for Bangar for IDT. It is vast and you have to make your own notes to revise during exams, otherwise revision from Bangar's book is impossible.

If you want a perfect exam oriented book with precise explanation and digramatic and tabular presentation, go for Yashwant Mangal. It is the precise version of Bangar yet covers complete syllabus. I had used both, so i can tell you the difference.

Vinod gupta...there are 8 volumes...if we refer only summary book of it...is it sufficient?..
