Can a person who took sabbatical for 2 months between 2 jobs claim deduction under Section 80GG on rent paid for those 2 months.

Provided you declare in Form 10BA
No it is not possible to claim deduction for rent paid when employee is not under employment.
Please Mention as a employee are you eligible for any HRA or Rent Free Accommodation from Company
