I have filed Service Tax return (ST3) for the period Oct.-Mar.2014 on 24th October 2014. What is the penalty for the late filing return, and how to pay the penalty amount. Kindly clarify.

The Due date for Service Tax return (ST3) for the period Oct.-Mar.2014 on 25th April 2014.
As per ServiceTax rule -7, the penalty for the late filing return (beyond 30 days from due date) is 1000+ Rs. 100 per day from 31st day upto the date of filing and Subject to Max. Rs. 20000.
As per your data, the Approx amount - Rs.16200 is late filing fee,and you have to use GAR 7 for making the payment under the category for which you are providing the service. Refer the code list from ACES or EASIEST payment web site.
