Agricultural Income is exempt from Income tax unless it shall be clubbed with other income for computation of total tax liability.
Assessee status has nothing to do with taxability here.
In your case as per the fact, it is not taxable.

Need to specify which type of agriculture activity you are referring. Not all the work done on field or any activity related to agriculture is an Agriculture Income as per Income Tax Act.
