Is CA better of CFA?

Which one has better career n better pay scale?

Hello Boss,

Pay scale wise if u look, CFA is much better.

If u r keen in analysis and graphs, it will be fun along with money. be ready for late night sittings.

Atleast CA does late night for monthly qtr clsoure. ha if u r intrested more in money then suggest blindly go for CFA.

best for investment banking..... ulllaa ..phatte income hai

I wonder why do people want to compare apple vs oranges? Some of you who put it in bold, do you really know what CFA is and what CA is?

CFA is a private institution which is already in brawl with lot of countries including Indian CFA as the word Chartered Financial Analyst means a Financial Analyst which is backed by Charter of a country. This is similar to Chartered Accountants who are backed by statutory provisions of ICAI ACT' 1949. But CFA is not identified by any country as a regulating education. So they are not allowed in many a countries to use word 'Chartered'.

Do accept that globally people who have worked in to portfolio managment or equity research etc have a significant edge against non CFA peers. Yet, to get into such profiles one needs another qualification like premium MBA. So , for people who think who can pursue CFA sans MBA as an alternative to CA are big time mistaken.

CA is much more affordable with high ROE , while CFA in India is mere a trend. We dont have so employment opportunities for CFA. I know numerous CFA's working in outsourcing as only the few who have got front office profiles are CA+CFA.

CFA after graduation is waste as you are admitted to membership after passing exam only after 3 years of relevant exp.

CA has no alternative and is still a core qualification which has helped me all the way to compete with the best.
