Service rate of 12%

This is w.e.f. 16-Mar-2012 (i.e. from the date of Budget)

please confirm only excise duty increasing from today but service increasing w.e.f only on 01.04.2012

12% service tax is levied wef 1st of april 2012. not from 16th of march midnight.

hike in excise rate was applicable from the midnight of 16th march and hike inservice tax is applicable from 01.04.2012
