If we are filling a return for the financial year 2009-10 then are we eligible to efile it or we have to file it manually.

Yes, Option is available for e-filing but is not mandatory for some class of assesses for 2009-10. I can give you details if you intimate teh class of assesse you are.But,penalty of Rs20K can be imposed as per law.
