Sales return in excise for manufacture

Sir,

Query : we are raise the excise sale invoice and send the material to customer. but customer return back the same material to us alongwith our sale invoice.

so in this situation, can we take cenvat credit or not?

if yes so what is the prcedure to take cenvat credit..

Dear Sir

Some Duty paid goods returned to factory, I request you to provide Intimation letter format along with Descripttion which will be submitted to Excise dept
