Deduction of tution fees paid for him/ her self

can anybody tell me whether the indl. is allowed to claim the deduction of the Tution fees paid by him/ herself for higher studies............

Hi, I dont think so the deduction will be allowed . 

deduction of "tution fees" is available for "children of assesee" only u/s 80C, not available for self education

Yes available for children 200 p.m per children maximum for 2 children.

Not allowed..However u can apply for loan & claim interest as deduction...Please note course should be full time...

i have gone through sec 80C and found it allowed............

If the person is employed he can take that part of the amount from his salary as academic allowance which is completely exempt from taxation.
