I think the topic of deserving comes wen the person has core knowledge about the subject as well his field and work . The minimum salary prescribed by the institute might be low in campus interview but if u think u deserve more than Rs 240000 why wait for campus interview.Just go out and try in other companies.
If i am not wrong.......... dis minimum ctc is not the min. salary that a firm should offer to a fresher ......it is d minimum Cost that a firm should incurr on each employee at present to participate in campus placment programme......
god knows why all the odds are with CA students and CA's always....hope all the CA's qualified in last attempt are placed with good company and good package.......and also we have to accept the fact that CA qualification is only not enough to sustain in the industry....we have to continiously specialise in our core subjects with other professional qualifications and prove ourself that we are pioneer in the Finance area.
M completely disheartened listening this..........so sad...pls suggest me whether to continue or stop here itself and do Mba.......as m 23 old and have passed cpt and 2nd gp of IPCC....this destroys all the courage to fight again and stay....for just 20000........
Before giving such a good result ICAI should have checked market demand of ca's as well.High result pass percentage is the reason for low ctc.Secondly in campus i do think that companies are laying more stress on group discussions rather than checking technical knowledge of students.
