I am a technical consultant rendering servies for few foreign as well as indian companies. How will my overseas income taxed? Am i suppose to pay service tax apart from TDS for my income from indian companies?

Yes, you are supposed to pay service tax on services rendered to Indian companies and not for your services rendered to international clients! Your overseas income will form part of your profits and gains from business and profession. Taxed as per slab rate!

service for international clients exempt from service tax as export of service rules with certain condition
but for domestic clients you have to charge service tax with if it is exceeds basic exemtion limit upto 10 laks
