Hi,
I have e-filed my returns this year and have received the intimation from CPC - I - T that INR 1 is payable. What should I do now? Should I file revised returns?

I called up the CPC call centre. They say if demand is less than INR 10 then there is no need to pay. Could someone please confirm the same?

You should go to IT dept and pay Rs.1/- coin personally. LOL,
No need to pay this tax. Read section 288B.

What if amount is Rs. 80 payable? The intimation states no refund to be issued if refund less than 100 or no challan enclosed if payable less than Rs. 100/-. So do we need to pay or even if we pay how to intimate the department i. e. whether to send a letter to Bangalore or Local IT Department for payment of tax?
