Hi,
I had to pay 85000 Rs as notice pay to my previous employer. I asked the employer to include the same in my form16, but they are refusing to do this.
Is there any law which supports my request? Can employer include this amount in form16?

Hi,
There is no such provison through which, employer can put the notice pay recovery in FORM 16.
But still by filing your tax returns you can probably claim refund on the excess tax paid
