1. What is the procedure for registration?
Visit: www.cmii.icai.org and read all the instructions carefully for the procedure of registration, yet if you have any query, then ask here.
2. What is the practical situation in campus?
Practical situation and procedure is as under:
* You have to visit the venue of interview at given time. Time and venue for interview will be made known to you after you finish registration on www.cmii.icai.org.
* There you have to sign attendance sheet. It is not compusory to sign attendance sheet, but advisable.
* There will be so many candidates. So there will be atmosphere of depression and too much rush and noise. Campus interview runs on all days from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. That means you have to remain active for 15 hours in too much noisy environment. Keep paracetamol tablets with you to avoid headache. Dont waste more energy in talking uselessly and walking here and there in campus. You will need energy at the time of GD or interview.
* All the announcements will be made in auditorium. So sit there instead of asting energy in finding various places in the building of campus interview. All announcement will be made by calling your registration number and not your name. So remember your number. You will get your registration number after you make registraion on www.cmii.icai.org
* It is not mandatory to wear a suit in interview. Your clothes will not be given any weightage in selection process. However do wear a formal shirt with a tie (For Boys).
* When your turn comes, you are required to appear for GD or/and interview. The place for the same will be made known to you by announcement of your Registration Number. So be fully attentive as your number may be announced any time and if you do not listen if or if you are not present at that time, you will lose the chance permanently. No second chance will be given to you.
* After completing your GD/interview, come and sit in auditorium. If company wants to offer you a job, it will make announcement of all selected candidates there. However you have to be ready to wait and watch for hours without losing patience and mind.
3. Is there any cheating by Companies?
Yes, companies reserve all the rights to change job profile / selection process except salary in any way. So even if it is given in job profile that you are not required to do GD as a part of selection process, then also company can force you to do GD. ICAI has no right to stop companies change their selection process. So you have to be ready to face every challenge and hundreds of other candidates. In short, there will be too much cheating and partiality. U can win only by chance and your knowledge, degree and personality is not very important in winning at campus.
4. How should i fill details in expected salary in the form?
At bigger center: Fill5 lacs
At small center: Fill3 lacs
Not more in any case, otherwise chances of shortlisting are lesser.
5. Is orientation programme compulsory?
It is mandatory to attend orientation programme as per guidelines. However, nothing will happen if you do not attend it. So dont worry if you cant attend.
