What if the data input format for the cheque number is minimum 6 digit? So your '0'  will be unacceptable to the software because its not matching the data input format of 6 digit.

If you have made online payment you will be having a reference number( alpha numeric) in challan.

Pl enter only numbers and leave alphabets from that reference number in cheque number field in RPU.

Eg. In Bank  Challan, if

Reference Number --- CHS09456784

Type only 09456784 in cheque number column in RPU..

and give right challan no. in challn entry...if the prbolem is not slove...

u should check your employee detail.......

if employer have not a pan no. and u have put down entry in tds entry....please delete this entry...and try.....

another the problem not slove call the software custmer care.......tell the problem...

i also faced these type of error file , & still yet i could not get any type of solution (there are three  sheets in this software)

main file, challan file , annexure file  shall i have to save each file with different name & finally when i have to provide the path file which file i have to choose.

while creating a correcrion file in RPU 4.1 there is error displayed on screen "invalid input file name" and file dosent create for upload the revised return..

someone please help me to solve the problem...
