I wanted to know how the depreciation rates have been derived for the power generating units.

need it urgently...!

Is ur question How it has been derived..??? Thats IT Act rates. We can oly know how much it is.

Power generating units comes under point (8)(xiii). Dep of 80% of wdv

That's okay...i wanted to know how the SLM rates have been derived....need its computation...must be some logic behind such rates....
