What is the rate of depreciation on projector ?
Does it fall under the COMPUTER HARDWARE category which (I believe) gets 60% depreciation (pre 30th Sept).

A LCD projector can be used even without the use of a computer. It can be used even with a video camera or an digital camera. So, it shall be classified under plant and machinery and hence the rate of depreciation shall be 15% under Income Tax Act and 13.91% under Companies Act.
