If a company has issued equity shares with differential voting rights, can the company demat them ?
if yes, how does the company exercise control over transfer of those demat shares?
thanks

Hi there
Shares issued with differential voting rights ar for that matter any securtiy (Eqty share , Debenture , Pref shares) Can be de materialised.
A separate ISIN number will be issued by the depositories to those shares as it will be of a different class of Shares.
Control can be easily made as those shares will have different ISIN.
