In DP account maintained by joint holders,both the holders has to sign for execution of purchase and sale or the first named holder can operate the account on behalf of the other.for opening the account both the holders has to submit address and ID proof or is it enough if the first named holder has given his address and ID proof

For opening of account you need documents of both persons. However for operating it signature of only first holder is necessary.
