09 May 2010During the course of audit i have found an invoice which relates to month of March'10 in which TDS is to be deducted but the same was booked in the month of April'10. Although provision for the same was made in the month of March'10 including of Provision of TDS also.
Please confirm that whether they can deposit the TDS in this case till 31st of May.

Ofcourse, you have to deposit this TDS Amt. up 31st May

The TDS liability arises when the an amount of payment is credited/paid.
Since, the sum, in the given case is credited in the month of March 2010, the TDS amount can be deposited to the credit of Central Government on or before of 31st of May.
