One of the articles on various deductions available to the tax payer interalia states that u/s 80D, one senior citizen can avail deduction of Rs.30000 towards mediclaim insurance premium and medical bills.
Pl. clarify the term medical bills mean the medical expenses incurred by the senior citizen tax payer for self and/or spouse for domiciliary as well as hospitalisation treatments.
