Dear Neeraj
Nice question yaar
In my Opinion Watever fees paid as tution fees we can claim deduction provided it is full time education
so that ur 2 queries i.e. CA fee and Correspo. Fee May not fall under deduction wall
okay i think rs.100/- per child upto 2 maximum it is only an exempt allowance i.e. if employer gives us children education allowance then it will attract otherwise it maynot ....
just it is my view only

Dear,
Ramesh is correct in his views
Rs.100/- per child upto 2 maximum is only an exemption in allowance i.e. only if any such allowance as children education allowance is being received and it is in no case can be taken as allowable expenditure out of your total income.

Simply speaking
no in both the cases because firstly it is available only for full time courses and dat 2 for only tution fees paid and not in any other cases

tuituion fee under section 80c covers "tuition fee paid to to any university, college, school or other educational institution situated within
for the above person means "in the case of an individual, any two children of such individual"
So tuition paid for "self" will not qualify for deduction
Dear Neeraj,
Tution fee paid is deductible... no other fee like admission fee or bus fee etc.. are deductible...
i think tution fee paid to ICAI is not deductible because in the letter from accounts section after paying the stipulated fee.. in the break up, even though it is will be specifically mentioned as tution fee u cannot claim as the section says " Payment made as tution fees to any university, college, school or educational institution situtated in india for the purpose of full time education in respect of any two children of the assessee is deductible "
But the CA course is not full time course .. it is distance learning... hence not deductible...
